Create A Memoir With a Face and a Voice

Two Ways to Tell Your Story

  • In Person

Our in person service allows you to work with a professional videographer, from a destination of your choosing, for up to three hours to capture your story. It’s the best way to truly perserve your presence for years to come.

  • Virtual

Everyone has a story worth sharing and our virtual appointments make our services accessible to as many people as possible. No matter where you are in the world, you can hop on a call with a professional interviewer to record your story.

What’s included?

Pre-Interview Prep

You don’t need to be a natural storyteller to create something meaningful with us. Our pre-interview questionnaire helps guide the conversation, and we’ll also send a simple one-pager with tips to support you on filming day.

Guided Conversation with a Professional Interviewer

You’ll have a relaxed, personal conversation led by an experienced interviewer who knows how to bring out the heart of your story. They’ll guide the discussion, helping you share naturally—no scripts, no pressure, just your voice and your memories.

Professionally Produced Film

We’ll take your full interview and shape it into an easy-to-watch film that captures your story at its best. There’s no need to worry about pauses or retakes—our editors carefully refine the footage so you look and sound great.

"This was the perfect way to record my love story for my wife. I’m so grateful I invested in some extra help. I’ve always wanted to do this, but I was never able to get it done on my own. Now, I can gift it to my wife for our 50th wedding anniversary."

 FAQs

  • Storytell makes capturing meaningful life stories accessible and effortless. We pair professional videographers with thoughtful interviewers and editing tools to preserve the moments that matter most. Everyone has a story worth telling—and cost should never be a barrier to recording it. With just a couple hours and a genuine conversation, we help you create something that lasts.

  • Writing a memoir sounds amazing—but it doesn’t always go amazingly in practice. Life gets in the way. Even with the best intentions, most of us never get past the first few pages.

That’s where Storytell comes in. Think of it as a memoir—just easier, and with your voice and personality front and center.

In one relaxed, professionally guided conversation, we help you share your story without the pressure of writing it all down. Simple. Personal. Unforgettable.

  • Recording your own story sounds simple—but in reality, it’s often harder than it seems. It can be awkward talking to a camera, easy to lose your train of thought, and tough to know what’s worth including. And unless you’re comfortable editing video, the end result may not be something you’re proud to share.

With Storytell, you don’t have to figure any of this out. Our professional interviewers guide the conversation, our videographers handle the setup, and our editors turn it into something polished and meaningful.

Just show up, share your story, and we’ll take care of the rest.

  • After you purchase your Storytell experience, we’ll reach out directly to coordinate a date and time that works best for you.

  • Once you book a service, we’ll send you a pre-interview questionnaire and a one-pager on what to expect on filming day. We’ll also help you distill your story into the parts you want to talk about most to ensure we capture your story exactly how you’d like to tell it.

  • We recommend only having one person join you on filming day as a support person. The more intimately this person knows you, the better. They can ask questions or remind you of details you may have forgotten. But two becomes a crowd, and we find it’s best to focus on the interviewee.

As far as filming, only our love stories include more than one person at this time.

That said, if you have a special vision in mind, fill out a contact form and we’ll see what we can do! We’d love to find a way to work together.

Your best stories have yet to be told.
