The origin of Storytell is simple. We noticed there was a need for an affordable way to professionally document life’s most meaningful moments.

We tried encouraging loved ones to write their memories down for us. But in the hustle of every day life, those stories were never written. Then, we tried to capture those stories on our own. But a lot of the time, it was half way through the story when we realized we should be recording. And by the time we hit record, we’d lose the moment. When we looked at what options existed for creating a video memoir, we were shocked by the price tags.

Everyone deserved to have their stories professionally recorded, at a reasonable price. It should be as simple as having a friendly conversation with someone who is truly interested in your life. So, we set out to create a company that helped everyone record the moments that meant the most to them in their lives.
